Drawing " The Havana Smoker " Fred Pailhès painter Normand (Havrais) Born in 1902, Fred Pailhès began to draw very young. He is renowned for his portraits of little people, both vagabonds and customers of the bistros he visited. He is also known for his paintings, drawings and studies of port and seaside landscapes, notably Le Havre, Marseille and Cannes. He would draw and paint until his death in 1991 in Le Havre.
